Honda cbr600 fk engine…might fit honda hornet of simular year).
Removed from my honda cbr600fk jelly mold as lost 3rd gear (i suspect internal gear fork selector as advised by local mechanic that i trust). I decided to replace engine rather than rebuild as i dont have the knowledge. This engine has no 3rd gear but was running fine through other gears. No unusual rattles or knocking sounds and No smoking. Would benefit from gasket on gear shaft selector. Front manifold bolt needs attention( was like this on engine when i purchased bike many years ago). Front sprocket case bolt fit needs attention (pictured..piece in picture included). Rear engine mount may need attention.
Ideal project engine for go kart or rebuild or for parts. This was a fast jelly mold engine (135mph if the clocks told truth). Engine number pictured.
Ive also included the wire loom which worked prior to being removed. Just indicator connections playing up. Everything pictured.
