For sale here are the remains of a Honda 500 Four which was purchased along with some other bikes, I was going to try and do something with it but don’t really have the time or the space for it so have decided to let it go. The obvious bit’s that are missing are the fuel tank, seat, rear mudguard, right hand side panel, kick starter and right hand foot rest but there may be more bit’s and pieces that I haven’t noticed but what is there seems to be in reasonable condition and a good start for a restoration or custom project, the left hand side panel suggests that the original colour was bronze and even has its badge, the spoke’d wheels have been painted white which seems to have preserved the chrome underneath and it is fitted with a newish looking 4/1 Motad. I put a battery on it and turned it over when I first got it over a year ago and every thing seemed O.K. but I didn’t try to start it as I imagine it would need it’s carbs cleaning and a bit of a service first as I don’t know how long it has been standing. I don’t know what model or year it is as it has no V5c or registration No. and the engine and frame No are 11000 digits different so would assume the engine has been replaced, the frame No. starts with CB500-207 and the engine No. starts with CB500E 216. A full receipt will be given on collection, collection only from Grantham NG31, prefer it to be within one week. Thanks for looking.
