Kawasaki triple 500 inletFirst of all, this is a spares or repair item. I am rebuilding a 1974 500D triple, and this original rubber inlet section is split in a few places.I have replaced it with a pattern item that was a hundred pounds to buy.I was going to throw this in the bin, but thought might be useful to someone. Certainly be good for me if I can get some of my hundred pounds back!It is the original Kawasaki part.Picking it up and just looking around it, it looks fine.When you start stretching it in a few places, you can see the splits.It is perfectly flexible, not hard and brittle.Perhaps you can use it for show, or somehow even repair it?
