Originally brought the red 1999 Yamaha majesty 125 for my wife.It was ok until engine over heated. On inspection found water had mixed with engine oil so suspect head gasket or cracked head.Brought a 2007 Yamaha majesty 125 as a replacement.This was stolen and vandalised.I brought it back off the insurance company with a view to making one good one out of the two.The red an black is complete and runs, but needs carb and linkage adjustment for smooth running.There are subtle differences between the old and newer scooter which makes combining them more awkward than I originally anticipated.There is also a full set of body panels and some spares from a scooter similar age to the 1999 one which was given to me as a non runner. Engine was knackered.My wife then lost patience with me and decided to buy a new Yamaha Tricity.My other idea was to sell the parts on ebay. However other projects and work mean I don’t have the time and need the space.I have the logbook for the 1999 Yamaha, but never bothered to apply for the log book for the 2007 after getting the bike back as salvage.You should be able to apply for it from DVLA if required.Nice little project for someone or a lot of spares to sell on ebay if you have the time.
