I saw this in my mates barn in about 2006 where it was to stay until I recently brought it home. See last picture of when it came home. I put oil down the plug hole and let it soak. New plug and petrol and yesterday it started 3rd kick. It is crying out for a restoration.Bad points.Tyres are shot.Will need new plastics.Rust on front fork stanchions. Scruffy.No V5 or number plates.Good points.Frame has only surface rust from what I can see.Engine sounds good,Gears Select but clutch is stuck.Allow rims will clean up nice.This could be registered with a dating certificate from the Yamaha Owners Club and could be historic from next year.I thought it was a 125 but the matching numbers indicate 175. If I am wrong please let me know and I will change the add. Don’t be under any illusions, this is a restoration project. I restore British Bikes and this sort of bike is not for me.
