BMW r1150r. Nice clean bike but does have an engine issue. I am selling this on behalf of my neighbour. He bought this from a friend with knowing that is had some sort of engine issue that we would be able to sort out.
Unfortunately I have not had the time to get it sorted and he now needs the space back in his garage.
The bike has no mot but had been well looked after and has part service history. Comes as pictured with all the luggage. A very nice clean tidy bike. The bike does run but doesn’t sound good. We had a look into and one side of the engine, the cam chain has a lot of slack in it. The cam chain tensioner is working and I believe that the cam chain guide has broken and caused the slack which is causing the noise. I would not recommend running the engine for to long incase the chain jumps.
