2010 Honda CBF125 engine with 8k miles on it, for spares/repair. This was fitted in my son’s 8K mile bike, but he ran it low on oil. It wasn’t run for long, but there was a ticking noise from the engine, so I stripped it down, expecting the cam to be damaged/worn, but the top-end was fine. While it was in bits, I fitted a new 150cc top-end (cost £120), but the noise was still there, so I removed the clutch and covers to check for bottom-end wear. Nothing was obvious, so I sourced a replacement engine. This engine had tatty covers, so I swapped them for the original one, and away he went. So what we have here is a low-mileage engine that was running, but still with a ticking noise from the bottom end, but with a good top-end and barely-run, new 150cc barrel and piston fitted. The cam and cam-drive are all very good, as is the clutch, but the clutch is just loosely attached at the mo). The generator and stator are still fitted, and it comes with the starter motor and inlet manifold, and all the engine cases, which are shabby, and need stripping or painting. It has sat outside under a cover for over a years now (bike is long gone), so is sold as seen and described for spares/parts or repair. No warranty or returns accepted, and I will not break it, or sell parts off it.
