Bought from a friend of a friend about a year ago, with the intention of doing it up in retirement, the bike is a 1960 Royal Enfield 250cc single cylinder Crusader. It had been left in a shed for decades by the previous owner, now sadly passed away. The bike is rusty but complete. Upon receipt, I partly dismantled it and bought nearly £400 worth of spares from Hitchcocks (I have the receipts, mostly carb parts, cables and filters). Subsequently, I have been diagnosed with Dementia. I can’t ride or drive anymore and have lost the use of my speech and my right hand, so the Crusader has to go. It’s a perfect Christmas present for someone who wants a small classic British motorcycle for restoration or spares. The bike didn’t come with any paperwork, but I have the contact address of the previous owner’s surviving family, so they should have the details of the bike if asked. Very reasonably priced, including the new spares. Buyer collects the partly dismantled bike, plus bits, from my house in Wilmslow. The successful bidder can also take my industrial polisher for free. I’ve used it successfully on the Enfield. If restoring the bike, you’ll need it!
