Suzuki AP50 Spares/Repair Project.A
nice, original Suzuki AP50 moped suitable for 16 year old learner
riders, using an air cooled, 2 stroke motor (Moto Morini) and best of
all is NOT Chinese! :)This
is being sold as a non-runner but with the parts to repair it. The
owner decided to fit a 70cc kit on it years ago but didn’t know about
upjetting the carb, inevitably, it seized up.. Happily he did buy a new
top end kit for it (50cc barrel, piston, rings, gaskets, circlip) in
it’s box (see last photo) but never got round to fixing it and been left
in the back of the garage for years. Being an air cooled, 2 stroke
there are only a couple of moving parts so shouldn’t be too difficult a
job, would make a perfect project/introduction to biking ;)Had the same owner since 2007 and is all standard, undamaged etc, it is old
(likely be older than the rider 😉 so has flakey wheel paint, sticky
brakes, perished tyres and needs seat re-cover. It comes with the V5
