Selling a Suzuki Katana 50cc moped/scooter. It has full logbook, number plate and key. This scooter has very low mileage for its age! Being only 5197, I am selling for a friend as I tinker with mopeds but never a Katana, he now doesn’t want the moped and no use to me either as I mainly do Yamaha Aerox’s/Gilera’s. Had it running a while back but then it’s sat around for a few months and now fires up but cuts out. Gave the carb a good clean out but still doesn’t look in the best shape so would advise that it needs a new carburettor to get running smoothly again. Has a cool ZX sports exhaust on it and have put new fuel/vacuum lines on the bike as old lines were brittle/cracked. Abit of TLC and looking over this bike will be a brilliant runner for daily use. Selling it as spares and repairs due to the issue stated above so don’t expect to view a fully running functioning moped. Indicators/lights all worked when running before have put a new battery on it since and spark plug. All panels are there to complete the bike (taken off when was looking at the running issue) not in the greatest condition as expected for their age some cracks and scratches but nothing can’t be fixed or replaced!
