Suzuki gsx750f Spares or repairs.
BAD BITS….
So.. this is the story… This was my daily commuter, 150miles round trip 5 days a week.. come rain or shine. serviced every 5 weeks (appx every 3500m) oil n filter. She never missed a beat… until i had a senior moment and never fully tightened the sump plug… lost oil.. and i have been told it has damaged the top end.. a garage has listened with a stethoscope and reckon the rest of engine is fine, ie bottom end cam chain, clutch n box etc…
THE BIKE STARTS, RUNS AND COULD BE RIDEABLE AS IS! its just very rattley top end…
GOOD STUFF! Genuine TWO owner bike. It has spent all its life in the Lincoln area. 2005 reg. 33142miles totally original. (except touring screen i fitted) Original screen comes with it.
nice metallic blue, all fairings in good original order with acceptable age related marks. new chain n sprockets, rear tyre has done about 500miles. it has bits n pieces that could use tidying.. but this bike has never even had an advisory on its MOTs. the most recent has just lapsed. bike is currently SORN. it has previous mots and owners books etc. 2 keys..
SO… after all that i thought about repairing it.. but have neither the time nor wish to do so.. i was going to break it but dont have the space to have parts all over.. so i have done the sensible thing and bought a new bike!!
this bike could easily be fixed by someone with the time to do so and i am confident she would be good for another 30k miles easily….
