Suzuki GSXR1100 M/N Slingshot 1991-92 – Yoshimura Exhaust SystemSold as seen. . . Spares or repair. Used, removed years ago from a GSXR1100 M. . . Not sure if it was specifically for this model or not?Has rotted through at the collector and end of link pipe, the rest looks solid enough to get a good weld on to repair. I had kept this to repair as it sounded fantastic on a friends GSXR, but have since sold on my own GSXR’s so it’s time this finds a new home. As said, it will need work. Looks like someone had tried to repair this in the past with a plate welded on and exhaust putty. Scraped off the majority of exhaust putty to get a good look at condition. CanHas wear & tear. It is straight through. Link pipe steel end has surface rust. Overall the whole can should clean up to look much better than it currently is. I don’t have a clamp/exhaust bracket for it. The spring brackets are still nice & strong, springs also included. Link PipeThe link pipe between the can and header section is solid apart from the very end where it connects to the headers, which had rotted through, some of it still stuck on the header section. Spring brackets nice & strong. HeadersDownpipes have surface rust but still seem solid enough until they reach near the collector part. Around the collector part is quite corroded. I haven’t had a good look but from what I can see, my repair plan was to remove the plate that had been welded on. The collector part is pretty solid in a lot of places, I was hoping to use it as a base to cut out the rot and shape some sheet to fill. I was planning the same repair process for the downpipe parts with some tube.
