1979 Suzuki TS185ER in Blue with a green petrol tank. Originally registered in the UK on 25th October 1979.Showing 1,756 miles on the clock. I have four previous MOT certificates to support the mileage.MOT 7th June 1986 1,017 milesMOT 8th October 1988 1,251 miles,MOT 7th December 1989 1,550 milesMOT 19th June 1996 1.633 milesI have the V5 registration document in my name, and two keys. Frame and engine numbers present and correct.    I have owned the bike since 11th July 2011. I brough the bike as you see it in the photos, in good running order. I rode the bike a coupe of times during 2011 on private land to test the bike. I found no issues at that time, parked it up in my work shop, and covered it over to store with the view of doing a light restore in the coming winter months. Which never happened, as family, work, life in general got in the way and the bike remained covered over unused. Having owned the bike for 12.5  years, I realise I will never get around to doing a light restore, and putting this bike back on the road. Therefore, sadly, I have decided to sell it.The bike is 44 years old, and can be registered as a historic motor vehicle with DVLA, making it road tax, mot and ulez exempt. Insurance will be cheap due to its classic status, and these bikes are only going up in value, as they are collectable. Even more so with this one being a 1979 model.    The engine turns over via the kick start and the compression feels good. The petrol fuel tank is rusty inside, and some of the paint work has peeled off on the left side of the petrol tank, showing bare metal. I have shown this in the photos. Otherwise the petrol tank appears solid with no visible holes. it looks like it just needs cleaning inside and sealing and a paint respray.   The carb will require to be stripped and clean due to the bike not being ridden for a long time, along with a new battery. The bike will need a good check over, along with a new spark plug and oil change. The lower front fork stanchions are good. The suspension works, the front and rear brakes work. The tyres are old, however, they have deep tread, there is no cracks, but the rear tyre appears to have a slow puncture. The steering head bearings feel good. The gears select okay, The bike free wheels and nothing is seized. I simple do not have the spare time these days. Otherwise, I would get the bike up and running myself. However, I would most likely then want to keep the bike.    Overall the bike is in good clean condition for its age, Side panels have some cracks, marks and scratches, there is some minor corrosion in places. As expected for a 44 year old used motorbike. The bike just needs some time spent checking it over, along with a service. The bike original colour is blue, as per V5. At some point before my ownership, the original blue tank was exchanged for a green one. I do not know why. There are no dents and no crash damage to speak off. The seat is in good condition, with a good solid base. Also the original chrome left side handle rail is still on the bike. which is a rare find these days. All four indicator rubber mounts have perished and held on by black tape. Please view all the photos for a better understanding on the condition of the bike. This bike will be a nice easy project for someone who has the spare time to do it up to its former glory.  The bike will need to be collected by the buyer or a courier from my home address in Ashford, Kent. I am about 1.5 miles from junction 9 off the M20.
